General questions
General questions
What is Gen 3 IV?
Gen 3 IV is a functional medicine and optimization clinic that helps women get deeper insight into hormone, gut, metabolic, autoimmune, energy-related, and other ongoing symptoms through advanced testing, personalized care, and supportive therapies.
Are you just an IV clinic?
No. Supportive therapies like IVs are part of what we offer, but they are not the whole focus of the clinic. Gen 3 IV also provides advanced testing, personalized programs, and a deeper, root-cause-oriented approach to care.
Who do you typically help?
We commonly work with women dealing with hormone symptoms, gut issues, autoimmune-related symptoms, metabolic concerns, fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, and symptoms that haven’t been fully explained elsewhere.
Do I have to live in Kansas City or Blue Springs to work with you?
Gen 3 IV has locations in Kansas City Northland and Blue Springs, and both locations serve patients across the surrounding Kansas City metro area.
Getting started
Getting started
What is the best place to start?
For most women looking for deeper answers, the best place to start is the Health Optimization Panel.
Why do most people start with the Health Optimization Panel?
Because it gives the clinic a clearer picture of what may be contributing to symptoms and helps create a more informed path forward.
What if I’m not sure whether I need the HOP?
If you know something feels off and you want more than a temporary fix, the HOP is usually the strongest starting point. If you’re still unsure, the team can help guide you.
Can I book something else instead?
Yes. Supportive therapies can still be booked directly, but if your goal is to understand deeper or ongoing symptoms, the Health Optimization Panel is usually the better first step.
Programs and deeper care
Programs and deeper care
Do I have to commit to a program right away?
No. Programs are only recommended when deeper, more structured support makes sense based on your symptoms, lab results, and clinical picture.
What kinds of concerns do your programs support?
Programs commonly support women dealing with hormone, gut, metabolic, autoimmune-related, and energy-related concerns.
How do I know if I need a program?
That depends on your results, symptoms, and goals. The Health Optimization Panel is often the first step that helps clarify whether deeper support would make sense.
Are your programs personalized?
Yes. Programs are designed around the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Supportive therapy questions
Supportive therapy questions
Can I still book IV therapy on its own?
Yes. IV therapy and other supportive services can absolutely be booked as standalone services depending on your goals and needs.
What supportive therapies do you offer?
Supportive therapies may include IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, sauna, cold plunge, injections, and other wellness services.
Are supportive therapies enough if I’m dealing with deeper symptoms?
They may be a helpful part of the picture, but many women with deeper or recurring concerns benefit from a broader plan that includes testing and more personalized support.
Can supportive therapies be part of a program?
Yes. These therapies can absolutely be used as part of a bigger care plan when appropriate.
