How Content Is Created

Our editorial process is designed to produce content that is genuinely useful, clinically responsible, and relevant to the patients we serve across Blue Springs and the greater Kansas City metro area.

  • Topics are prioritized based on common patient questions and local care needs in the Kansas City metro area.
  • Drafts are built around practical decision frameworks, not generic wellness claims or marketing language.
  • Where possible, references include government, academic, or recognized medical resources.
  • Content avoids sensational health claims and clearly distinguishes between established evidence and emerging research.

Clinical Review Process

All articles and educational materials are reviewed by our RN-led clinical review team before publication or major updates. This review ensures:

  • Medical-risk statements are checked for clarity and appropriate safety language.
  • Escalation guidance (when to see a provider vs. when to seek emergency care) is clear and conservative.
  • Claims are supported by referenced sources or clearly framed as clinical observation.
  • Content does not overstate treatment outcomes or make guarantees about results.

Articles are periodically re-reviewed as practice guidance, research, and patient questions evolve. Review dates are noted on individual articles where applicable.

Corrections & Updates

We take content accuracy seriously. When errors are identified, whether by our team, readers, or clinical partners, we follow these principles:

  • Material accuracy updates are made as quickly as practical after verification.
  • Substantive updates include revised publication or review dates on article pages.
  • Minor corrections (grammar, formatting, link updates) may be made without changing review dates.
